Today, Art Week NYC announced the participating galleries for its inaugural citywide event taking place November 11–14, 2026. The gallery program, presented by Artforum, is the cornerstone of the inaugural event, bringing together more than 76 world renowned galleries shaping the contemporary art world.
Participating galleries include Hauser & Wirth, Gagosian, David Zwirner, Pace Gallery, Lisson, Paula Cooper Gallery, and many others across New York’s gallery districts, including Chelsea, Tribeca, the Lower East Side, and the Upper East Side.
“Our vision for Art Week NYC began with the galleries,” said Danielle McConnell, Publisher of Artforum. “The galleries are where artists are discovered, careers are built, and the conversation around contemporary art moves forward. By bringing them together under one citywide platform, we’re creating an experience that reflects the strength and diversity of New York’s gallery community. We’re excited to invite audiences to see art where it is best seen, at the galleries and museums across the city.”
Art Week NYC will also celebrate New York’s extraordinary art ecosystem by featuring a breadth of museums and cultural institutions. In addition to a full day of public programming hosted in partnership with the New Museum and Artforum, Art Week will also highlight exhibitions, gallery openings, artist talks, and special events celebrating the city’s unmatched destination for contemporary art.
Alongside the citywide gallery program, ARTnews will present the Art Week NYC Hub, a gathering place for live interviews, panel discussions, artist talks, and editorial programming featuring many of the leading voices shaping today’s art world. Additional programming details will be announced in the coming months.

Art Week NYC is also delighted to announce that the inaugural festival is presented in collaboration with the ADAA Fair through a cross-promotional effort celebrating New York’s vibrant art community.
