Michael McGregor: World Cup 94 is a compilation of drawings by Michael McGregor in celebration of the World Cup. The drawings, created by the artist in Rio de Janeiro in January 2026 in anticipation of the 2026 World Cup, depict players and celebrities, iconography, as well as both celebratory and tragic scenes from the 1994 World Cup. Through McGregor's signature bold and gestural linework, this collection of drawings provides a nostalgic look back at the last World Cup hosted by North America, while celebrating the current one.
